     Singapore citizens attend public schools as part of the national education framework

     Students can freely choose curriculum systems (e.g., IB, A-Level)
     Singaporean private schools that are EduTrust-certified can apply for a student’s pass for international students
     Tailored curricula designed to suit student needs, offering personalized education plans.Popular among students from different countries based on academic preferences
  • Singapore Cambridge
    A-Level

    Offered by Singapore public and private schools.

     Administered by the Cambridge exam board in Singapore
     Subjects are more rigorous than the international Cambridge A-Level, especially ​General Paper (GP), which requires an 800-word logical essay in English
     Mandatory combination of science and humanities subjects, increasing the number of subjects to be studied
     Highly recognized by Singaporean universities
    Suitable for students with excellent English and strong academic abilities
  • International Cambridge
    A-Level

    Offered by international schools and private schools

     Globally recognized for university admission
     Students select 3–4 preferred subjects for exams
     Focuses on calculations and formulas, with lower English requirements
     Popular among Chinese students due to strong STEM foundations. Common subject choices: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, and Chinese (as a first language)
    Non-native English speakers with strengths in STEM or specific subjects
  • IB

    Available in public schools and international schools

     Less accessible to Chinese students in public school programs due to high competition from native English speakers
     Emphasizes essays, presentations, and research projects, requiring advanced English proficiency (equivalent to IELTS 6.5+)
     Challenging for Chinese students due to the heavy emphasis on English language skills
    Ideal for students with strong English proficiency, an outgoing personality, and active school involvement.
