The Singapore International Education Association (SIEA) officially opened applications for the 2025 SIEA Scholarship Programme on March 12, 2025. Eligible students worldwide may apply according to the outlined requirements.

 

 

The Singapore International Education Association (SIEA) is a registered association in Singapore.The association is deeply committed to fostering academic collaboration and facilitating meaningful exchanges between Singapore’s education sector and the global academic community. To date, it has successfully established strong partnerships with numerous prestigious universities around the world.

 

SIEA shall host an annual prominent university fair in Singapore, which has attracted esteemed institutions such as the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Imperial College London, University College London, Monash University, Australian National University, University of Melbourne, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, among others. By providing invaluable consultation for students and parents, SIEA shall guide them through the exciting possibilities of pursuing overseas education.

 

In 2025, SIEA launched the SIEA Scholarship Programme to sponsor outstanding high school students to CIE A-Level studies in Singapore, further promoting cross-border education and talent exchange.

Scholarship Overview

 The SIEA Scholarship Programme provides full or half sponsorship for talented students to study CIE A-Level in Singapore.

 Scholarship recipients will complete their high school education in Singapore.

 The application and selection process for the SIEA Scholarship is solely managed and administered by the Singapore International Education Association.

The scholarship includes

 A one-time settling-in allowance upon enrolment in the Singapore school.

 Tuition fees for the Singapore school.

 Accommodation fees at the school dormitory.

 Personal medical insurance for the duration of the scholarship.

* Scholarship recipients are required to participate in activities designated by the Singapore International Education Association.

Scholarship Duration

 The scholarship covers the full A-Level program.

 Scholarship eligibility is evaluated on a semester-by-semester basis.

 Students must take the following compulsory subjects:English Language/Mathematics/Physics/Further Mathematics/Chemistry or Economics (choose one between the two).

 To continue receiving the scholarship for the next semester, recipients must achieve an A* standard in final exams and continuous academic performance assessments for all the required subjects each semester.

Scholarship Levels and Quotas (Academic Year 2025-2026)

 First-Class Scholarship: 30 recipients

Eligibility Criteria

 Open to applicants of all nationalities, regions, and schools.

 Date of Birth：

      Between June 30, 2007, and June 30, 2011 (Applicants must be 14 to 18 years old as of July 1, 2025).

 Must demonstrate outstanding academic performance and a proficient level of English.

 Must have a good conduct record with no disciplinary issues.

 Q: What subjects are tested in the scholarship examination?

 A: The scholarship entrance examination assesses applicants in:English (equivalent to IELTS standard)/Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry or Economics (students choose one).

     The written test will take place on April 19-20, 2025, at test centers in Singapore, Shanghai, Nanjing, and Xiamen.Interviews will be conducted in May 2025 in Singapore.

 A: The minimum application grade level is Grade 8 (Year 2 of junior high school).

     Students from public schools, international schools, or any accredited institution may apply.

 Q: What are the scholarship renewal conditions?

 A: Scholarship recipients must meet the following academic requirements each semester:Achieve A grades* in all required subjects (Mathematics/Physics/(Chemistry/Economics)/Further Mathematics).

     Obtain an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher by graduation.
